"Shannon is a native Texan with a BBA degree in management and marketing from Baylor University. Among her post-graduate studies, she has learned much about psychology and the human condition. Professionally, she has been a building contractor, brick distributor, manufacturing rep, and has spent most of her adult life in sales and management. She lives in Arlington, Texas with her best friend and co-author Cynthia. She is the parent of three children and five grandchildren.

With a passion for writing, she spends her time creating, promoting, and marketing the novels and screenplays created by her and Cynthia (Cindy). Cindy is a former U.S. Defense Dept. aircraft inspector and was last based in Fort Worth, TX at Lockheed. There, she was the chief inspector for the F-16 fighter jet, plus the most recent F-35 fighter jet.

Both she and Shannon are retired and devote themselves to creating stores and honing their craft. With a debut Sci-Fi Fantasy novel entitled "Pilorum," she and Cindy craft memorable, often complex, yet intriguing characters who sometimes wrestle with their psyche, and aren't always what they appear to be at first glance.

They are a writing team that uses the pseudonym, C.S. Ramahon, which is an amalgam of their first initials and last names. Family comedic novels entitled "Hooten Holleran" (a farcical sports fantasy), and the iconic "Poultry-Geist" (a ghostly comic tale of "fowl play") exhibit their sense of humor.

The book was published in 2011 (the green cover) as "Blue Life... Pink Heart". The new re-edition (the pink cover) under the title "Pink Heart: A Transgender Memoir" was published in 2021.
