A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Chaye Hartwell - Chaye Unfolding

Full title: "Chaye Unfolding" by Chaye Hartwell.

"Imagine a little girl trapped inside the body of a boy. This little girl has dreams of becoming a fashion model one day, but instead, life forces her to learn the art and craft of living as a male. She attends an all-boys boarding school, plays dominant male sports, and eventually crafts herself into the societal ideal of a young man.

This little girl is me, and for twenty-five years, she remained living her life in secret. Appearing in short bursts in the dark of night through a laptop screen or my imagination, her need for existence was my greatest shame and fear. Eventually, the pain of not sharing her with the world grew too intense, and regardless of how established my male life was, she needed to come out.

"Chaye Unfolding is the story of my journey towards self-acceptance and self-love. It explores my search for identity as a female, the bewilderment I felt as a child by the worlds and environments around me, and my continual struggles to eventually discover who I am."

"Chaye Hartwell is a highly motivated and accomplished individual passionate about law, sports, and advocating for marginalised communities. Currently, Chaye is studying for a bachelor of law at the University of Technology, Sydney, where she is honing her legal skills and knowledge. Alongside her studies, Chaye is an active semi-professional athlete, playing competitive cricket and soon to be playing Australian football. She also volunteers at the National Justice Project, dedicated to helping others and positively impacting the world."

"With a background as a former fashion model and a personal journey of gender transition, Chaye has a unique perspective on life, and the challenges marginalised communities face. She uses this insight to inform her work in her legal studies and as an advocate for human rights. Her experience playing competitive sports has also given her valuable skills in teamwork, leadership, and perseverance, which she applies in all areas of her life."
