A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.
Orignal title: "Lucrèce n'est pas une femme" (Lucrece is not a woman) by Pascal Aquien.
The book focuses on the existence of an 86-year-old transgender woman. Presented in the form of an alphabetical and thematic glossary, this book is a funny, unbridled and intelligent dialogue between two personalities that a priori everything opposed but who nevertheless found each other: the author, Pascal Aquien, an academic, and André B. became Lucretia, a transvestite cabaret artist whose path crossed that of celebrities such as Jean Marais and Marlene Dietrich.
The entries in this glossary allow free reading, as was the life of the main interested party. Everyone will have fun piecing it together like a puzzle and wondering what lessons any human being can learn from playing a role, whether imposed or necessary.
