A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Joash Moo - Sisterhood: The untold story

Full title: "Sisterhood: The untold story" by Joash Moo.

The book presents oral histories of the transvestites and transsexuals of Singapore. Oooooh, I love men! "Homo", "Ah Qua", "Bapok"; the transvestites and transsexuals of Singapore have long been a much maligned and misunderstood section of our society. But through the experiences of lascivious prostitutes, effeminate national servicemen, the pansy undergraduate - characters – which we recognise in life the masks of mascara and frivolity are stripped bare to expose their innermost feelings and private lives. And there has been much to share...

From the first stirring realisations of adolescent lust; the shock and guilt of sexual desires; the pain following insults, abuse, and rejection; the terrifying dilemma of a sex-change operation to the ecstasy of marriage, we are plunged into the helter-skelter world of the "sisters". In Sisterhood: The Untold Story, Joash Moo shatters the prejudices and taboos of our AIDS-mania age in an honest, never-before revealed peek at the exaggerated swing of the bottom, the generous bosoms, and the girlish mannerisms. Sisterhood is a collection of true stories, based either on interviews or actual persons known to the author.

Leona Lo & Lance Lee - My Sisters, Their Stories

Full title: "My Sisters, Their Stories" by Leona Lo and Lance Lee.

"The book is the first coffee-table book about transsexuals in Singapore. Leona Lo tells all about her tortuous experiences while attending one of Singapore's premier boys' school, the difficulties transsexuals like herself face and the myth that gay men are jealous of transsexual women because they have access to heterosexual men. Leona Lo recently resigned from her position as corporate affairs manager of a statutory board to devote her time to writing and windsurfing."

"Leona, who identifies as a transsexual woman, worked as an editor in Singapore as well as corporate communications assistant manager for a private healthcare group after graduating with an undergraduate degree from the University of York, United Kingdom. In 2000, she was given the Prospects Globe Award to pursue a Master's in Qualitative Research Methods at her alma mater."

James Eckardt - Singapore Girl: A Memoir

"This is the true story of a long-vanished Singapore and the dangerous carnival known as Bugis Street. James Eckardt arrived in 1970s Singapore only to fall in love with a Singaporean nymph named Milly.

Thirty years later an email arrived that would lead Eckardt to discover what had happened to the Singapore girl, who, at the time he had loved her, had not technically been female."

Leona Lo - From Leonard To Leona

Full title: "From Leonard To Leona: A Singapore Transsexual's Journey To Womanhood"

"From Leonard to Leona is the first transsexual autobiography to emerge from Singapore. Growing up as the only son in a traditional Chinese family meant that Leona had to suppress her gender identity conflict throughout her adolescent years until she felt she could not live a lie anymore.

A series of major incidents during compulsory military service and her tertiary education at York University, United Kingdom led to her life-changing decision to go to Bangkok for sexual reassignment surgery."
