A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Stephanie Jones - Into The Flames: A Life In Transition

"What would drive a 49-year-old fire officer to make a decision that would lead to him losing his marriage, children, career, and everything he’s ever worked for?

The answer is a desire to live a different life, a life that had been denied him and to try to find the true happiness that had eluded him for so long. It is this overpowering need to live an authentic life that lies at the core of this book and it covers various aspects of the transition process from male to female.

It spans an entire lifetime - from the earliest attempts of a child to understand why, to the confused adolescent years, then on to desperate middle age, and finally through to the present day.

It describes the impact of gender dysphoria on a life and the subsequent desperate and futile struggle against a transitional tide that culminated in painful realisation in the April of 2015."

Stephanie Jones - Out of the Flames: Well That Was Interesting

"Out of the Flames: Well That Was Interesting" by Stephanie Jones.

"Following the compelling and powerful "Into the Flames" comes Stephanie Jones’ final steps towards completing her transition and embracing her true gender identity."

"Out of the Flames picks up where Into the Flames left off, describing the ups, downs, challenges, and triumphs that transitioning presents. In many respects, it is the Yang to Into the Flames’ Yin, the positive to the negative, the light to the dark. Reflecting on how a person adjusts and settles into a new gender role, Stephanie discusses the importance of offering help and guidance to those embarking on their own journeys of transition, and of passing on knowledge gained from her own experiences."
