A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Vittoria Schisano - La Vittoria che nessuno sa

Original title: "La Vittoria che nessuno sa" (The Victoria That Nobody Knows) by Vittoria Schisano.

Giuseppe loves his family and his land, Campania, but he has two good reasons for abandoning them: a passion for the theater and a secret he can't even confess to himself. So he moved to Rome, where he began studying acting and listening to his body and his soul. Giuseppe now believes he is homosexual, yet that is not the answer to his concern about him. A long and tormented journey leads him to the decision to change gender.

In November 2013, after months of treatment lived in the shadows, Vittoria was finally born, and in this story-confession, she reveals childhood dreams and fears, escapes, tears, and the difficult choice to abandon compromises and hypocrisy to become what she has always been: a beautiful woman.

According to Wikipedia, Vittoria Schisano is an Italian actress, born Giuseppe Schisano in Pomigliano d'Arco in 1977. In 1998, Giuseppe moves to Rome to study acting. After acting for several years in the theater, he makes his debut in 2005 in the television film "Mio figlio", playing the role of Damien. He reappears as this character in 2010 for the television series "Io e mio figlio - Nuove storie per il commissario Vivaldi". Meanwhile, in 2009 he wins the award for the best new actor.

At the end of 2011, Giuseppe reveals that he is a transgender woman, taking the name of Vittoria. She then acts in films such as "Tutto tutto niente niente" and "Outing". In February 2016 she becomes the first transgender woman to have appeared on the cover of the Italian edition of Playboy. From November 2018 to February 2019 she is on stage at the Salone Margherita in Rome in the theatrical show by Pier Francesco Pingitore entitled "Femmina!". In 2019 she acts in the film "Nati 2 volte". In 2020 she took part in the fifteenth edition of Dancing with the Stars, paired with the dancer Marco De Angelis. In the same year, she lends her voice to the role of trans girl Natalie, one of the characters introduced in the fourth season of the cartoon "Big Mouth".
