A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Fumettibrutti - Trilogia esplicita

Original title: "Trilogia esplicita: Romanzo esplicito - P. La mia adolescenza trans - Anestesia" (Explicit trilogy: Explicit novel - P. My trans adolescence - Anesthesia) by Fumettibrutti.

With her unparalleled bare, primary, essential sign, an author who in a few years has established herself among the most important voices of Italian comics transports us on a complex, painful but overflowing with life path. An autobiography in three stages, which make their way on the page following the order dictated by the urgency of the story.

Here then is "Romanzo esplicito", the dazzling first work of Fumettibrutti, the story of an important love, followed in all its painful evolution through glimpses of real life, in which sex can lead to the apex of the union but also in the abyss of loneliness.

"P. La mia adolescenza trans" goes back in time to the "zero years": against the background of school, bullying, family and social life, highs, and online dating. A teenager discovers her gender identity and comes to terms with the complications that this entails in accepting her body. It is the beginning of a journey of awareness and choices that will lead, under anesthesia, to challenge the obstacles that courts, institutions and social expectations sow on the way to full self-realization. Three stories intertwine in life and draw, on everything, loneliness and love, and how difficult and tormenting, but necessary, it is to come to love ourselves. A song of excruciating purity and a cry of freedom.

According to Wikipedia, Fumettibrutti, also known as Josephine Yole Signorelli (born in Catania in 1991), is an Italian cartoonist and activist. She quickly became a celebrity of the network following the opening of her artistic project on social media, she was contacted by Feltrinelli of Milan to debut with an authorial publication in the new editorial series "Feltrinelli Comics", inaugurated in 2018, winning the Micheluzzi Award for Best First Work at the Napoli Comicon, the Cecchetto Award to the best-emerging talent at the Treviso Comic Book Festival, and the Gran Guinigi as best newcomer at Lucca Comics & Games.
