I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. The testimonies in this book belong to transvestites from a plurinational and multicultural environment, that of Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Spain, Guatemala, Mexico, and Venezuela, where the fact of sharing a language allows the direct voices of transvestites to be the thread certain that brings us closer to their vital experience.
