A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Brigitte Baptiste - Brigitte Baptiste: un homenaje ilustrado

Original title: "Brigitte Baptiste: un homenaje ilustrado" (Brigitte Baptiste: an illustrated tribute) by Brigitte Baptiste.

"Brigitte Baptiste. Illustrated story. A tribute to the great ecologist and defender of the environment. The life and work of Brigitte Baptiste, as well as her vision of science and the world, converge in this graphic journey, which is nothing more than an emotional illustrated tribute."

Brigitte Baptiste is a prominent figure in both the scientific and transgender communities. Born Luis Guillermo Baptiste1, she is a Colombian cultural landscape ecologist and an expert on environmental issues and biodiversity in Colombia1. She has served as the director of the Alexander von Humboldt Biological Resources Research Institute and is currently the director of Universidad Ean.

As a transgender woman, Baptiste has a high profile in Colombia and has been challenging scientific and social conventions alike. She has been recognized for her work in ecology and has written numerous books and articles on the subject. Her appointment as the chancellor of Ean University, a business school, was seen as a significant step towards greater sustainability and diversity. While her work primarily focuses on environmental and biodiversity issues, her visibility and advocacy in the transgender community have also made her a symbol of diversity and acceptance.

So, while she may not be an activist in the traditional sense, her work and visibility certainly contribute to the broader conversation about transgender rights and acceptance.
