A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Andrea James & Deanne Thornton - Letters for My Sisters

Full title: "Letters for My Sisters: Transitional Wisdom in Retrospect"

"LETTERS FOR MY SISTERS is an anthology of collected wisdom by and for transgender women. This groundbreaking collection of letters tells raw, heartfelt stories of childhood, transitioning, and becoming women in a world where acceptance is sometimes elusive and costly. Brave, boldly vulnerable and revealing, this collection adds to a growing body of literature where trans people tell their own stories as they lived them."

Andrea James is a very prolific American artist, writer, film producer, director, businesswoman, and LGBT rights activist, known for her performance in the first all-transgender cast of The Vagina Monologues, a play by Eve Ensler, and for directing two short films "Casting Pearls" (2007) and "Transproofed" (2009).

Monica P Mulholland - ME!: The Gift of Being Transgender

Full title: "ME!: The Gift of Being Transgender" by Monica P Mulholland.

"It may come as a surprise that there are hundreds of thousands of teens, young adults and kids throughout the world who experience their lives in just the way you do. Some of us are born gifted, creative, or disabled - but all of us share something in common: we were all born Transgender girls and boys. Despite this evolving understanding, most of us have lived fearfully and have suffered without reason, because those who have come to know us at school, or who have encountered us socially, have misunderstood us, and have disliked us because we seemed different when they compared each of us to themselves.
