A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Danielle Torres - Sou Danielle

Original title: "Sou Danielle: como me tornei a primeira executiva trans do Brasil" (I'm Danielle: How I Became Brazil's First Transgender Executive)

Danielle Torres is a partner at one of the largest auditing and consulting companies in the world. She majored in accounting and management, has four postgraduate degrees -- in business management, philosophy and human rights, technology, and digital influence -- holds a master's degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, is a professional makeup artist, columnist for Marie Claire magazine, and speaker.

Danielle is a trans woman. And she asserted herself as such when she already held a director position in the company where she worked and still works today. Until then, she was the "Torres". Her employer not only institutionally supported the changes the executive went through but also later invited her to become part of its corporate structure.
