A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Hannah Winkler - Fe-Male: Hinein in den richtigen Körper

Original title: "Fe-Male: Hinein in den richtigen Körper" (Fe-Male: Into the Right Body)

Born in the wrong body, Hannah grows up. Outwardly a boy, but inwardly a girl, she soon wishes for only one thing: to finally be able to live her true gender.

In her book FE-MALE, Hannah Winkler describes her difficult path to the right body. Again and again, her goal is hindered by 'well-meaning' representatives of state authorities, who want to exorcise the 'idea' of being a girl, and also understand her close relatives, overwhelmed by the situation, for a long time that their beloved boy is actually a girl.

Despite many negative experiences and numerous humiliations that Hannah Winkler had to go through, she tells her story full of hope and warmth. Last but not least, she is encouraging with her book, because she finally found a youth hostel where she felt accepted and supported, and friends who love her as she is. Today, after gender reassignment surgery, she also lives physically as a woman in accordance with her true purpose.
