A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Angela van Bebber - Alles mag er zijn

Full title: "Alles mag er zijn" (Everything is allowed to be there!)

In this publication, Angela van Bebber presents her life lessons, experiences, and encounters after her gender change. It is a sequel to "Eindelijk, ik lééf!" (Finally, I'm alive!) from 2009, in which she wrote about her transsexuality.

In the book, Angela covers a new phase. She experienced a lot and got to know herself better. She noticed that after what she went through, her feelings, everything in her life, are right, that everything happens for a reason.

In 2014, I interviewed Angela and I asked her about how she found the courage and energy to cope with all the transition challenges: "I have a lot of strength. All my life I solved all my problems myself. Never had any burnout. Never needed someone to help me out. I was always on my own.

I still have setbacks, sometimes they last a few days, sometimes a few weeks, but always I get over them. And I strongly believe that I have to go through all of this because I’m the kind of person who wants to share and teach others. On stage, I have a universal story to share with the audience.

At the time of your transition did I have any transgender role models? No. I did it all by myself. I believe that everything in life has meaning. Everything happens for a reason. Of course, some people encouraged me to take steps, but there was no role model.

I still can’t find peace in my mind about my past. I’m still surviving and that’s not necessary anymore. That is why I still can’t enjoy life as much as I should do. That is a pity. But that will take time, step by step."
