A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Sandy Lee - Ich, Sandy

Original title: "Ich, Sandy: Erfahrungen mit der Transidentität - Eine Autobiografie" (I, Sandy: Experiences with Trans Identity - An Autobiography) by Sandy Lee.

This book is the story of a woman who was born a man. It shows her long path of self-discovery and self-realization from the first insights to the final decision to lead her further life as a woman. The whole process is marked by endless bureaucracy and arbitrariness by the authorities, by great personal sacrifices and psychological catastrophes.

The story itself may not be very exciting, but the author wrote down what made her sad or happy. She reflects her emotional world in a time of great human change. Everything that is described here actually happened. The author tells of her feelings and experiences in the years from 1999 to 2004. She lives in a small town near Chemnitz and is now recognized as a woman there.
