A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Full title: "Trans/Active: A Biography of Gwendolyn Ann Smith" by Sophia Cecelia Leveque
This book is the story of Gwendolyn Ann Smith, a transgender rights activist from the San Francisco Bay Area, and co-founder of Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day to memorialize people who have been killed as a result of transphobia.
In 1993-1998, Gwendolyn ran the Transgender Community Forum on AOL, which was one of the very first public online forums for transgender people. In addition, she was a columnist for the Bay Area Reporter and managed the website Genderfork.
