A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Selena Milán - Transapariencia: Soy Selena y soy una chica trans

Original title: "Transapariencia: Soy Selena y soy una chica trans" (Transparency: I'm Selena and I'm a trans girl) by Selena Milán.

The first Spanish trans influencer who came out of the closet in the network tells how it has been the most important process of her life.

Just like me, there are many children who want to start their transition, who are clear about who they are and what their gender identity is but do not know how to start with the process or even how to share it with their family. It's a difficult road and sometimes a lot of obstacles get in the way, but it's always worth it. I can attest to that.

To begin with, I suggest that you engrave in your memory that we have not come to this world to suffer, that you have the right to live your identity freely and to express yourself as you wish. In this book I am going to talk about my transition, my childhood, the support of my family, the bureaucratic and medical obstacles I had to face, the prejudices and mockery of people, transphobia, my own fears ...

I will try to share my experience as best as possible in case it can be of help to you, or to the people around you. To normalize something we are still fighting for today and achieve a better future.

Selena Milán is a Spanish trans influencer who rose to fame in 2016 when she posted her first YouTube video. With only 20 years, the Canarian has also revolutionized other social networks such as Instagram, where she has more than 200,000 followers, or mtmad, where she has her own channel, Caza de Witches, in which she goes out in search of the greatest betrayals and disloyalties in exchange for money. In 2020, on Pride Day, she came out as a trans girl, surprising an audience she had won over from the start by limiting herself to being herself.
