Brianna Ghey was a 16-year-old British transgender girl from Birchwood in Warrington, Cheshire, England. She was born on November 7, 2006, and passed away on February 11, 2023, after being fatally stabbed by two teenagers in Culcheth Linear Park in Culcheth. The two teenagers were quickly arrested and later convicted of her murder. Brianna's murder was a tragic event that shook the community and raised awareness about the violence and discrimination faced by transgender individuals. Her death sparked a conversation about the need for greater acceptance, support, and protection for the transgender community.
