A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.
Original title: "Transformando la televisión: Representaciones en series que revolucionan la hegemonía cis" (Transforming Television: Representations in Series That Revolutionize Cis Hegemony) by María Toscano-Alonso.
Trans identities have been silenced and made invisible for years, having been scarcely represented in mass culture, and when they have appeared it has been under negative stereotypes. In the last decade, new representations have begun to proliferate in television series and digital platforms that have given space to diverse trans-identity realities, from a trans woman imprisoned in prison, in Orange Is The New Black, to a trans man in the middle of the Spanish Civil War, in Las chicas del cable.

Original title: "Veneno: De Adra a las estrellas, una biografía ilustrada" (Poison: From Adra to the stars, an illustrated biography) by Alex Ander and Carlos Valdivia Biedma.
25 years ago, Cristina, la Veneno, appeared for the first time on television by Pepe Navarro. Every night, millions of viewers watched a trans woman shamelessly talk about herself, her work, or her past. Soon, her charisma, her body, and her authenticity catapulted her to fame, which, as is often the case, brought with it ups and downs and moments of darkness. From then on, Cristina's life was a rollercoaster in which as soon as she earned millions of pesetas a night, she found herself in prison for fraud. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of her appearance on television, and the 5th anniversary of her death, journalist Álex Ander and illustrator Carlos Valdivia come together to capture in text and illustrations the life of one of the greatest icons of recent decades.

Original title: "¡Digo! Ni Puta Ni Santa. Las memorias de La Veneo" (Say! Neither bitch nor Santa. The memories of La Veneno) by Valeria Vegas and Cristina Ortiz.
Cristina La Veneno is able to present in her peculiar way, different themes, ranging from family to plastic surgery, sex, or prison drama. It is the story of a young man who fled his village transforming himself into a woman. Of a prostitute who sees her luck change. Of a famous person who never fought to be.
Sincere and funny, she presents her life to us. An uncommon life, unique as its protagonist and that has a certain melodramatic air, which will serve to know a little more about Cristina, already, forever, La Veneno.
