A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. Full title: "Horse Barbie: A Memoir" by Geena Rocero.
"As a young femme growing up in Manila in the 1990s, Geena Rocero endured shouts of bakla, bakla!, a Filipino taunt aimed at her feminine sway, whenever she left the little universe of her eskinita. Eventually she found her place in trans pageants, events as widely attended and culturally significant as a national sport, going to high school by day and competing by night. When her competitors denigrated her with the nickname "horse barbie," due to her statuesque physique, tumbling hair, long neck, and dark skin, she leaned into the epithet, stepping onto stage with an undeniable charisma - part equine and all fashion.
By seventeen, she was the Philippines' most prominent and highest-earning trans pageant queen. When she moved to the United States, Geena was able to change her name and gender marker on her documents, which wasn't--and still isn't--possible for trans people in the Philippines. But legal recognition didn't come with any guarantee of safety.

""Overnight Woman" is the second among four autobiographical books written by Donita Ganzon, whose name became sensational as the first Asian-American true transsexual who sued the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (US CIS). The other books which will be released later are "Vietnam," "The Twisted Man," and "Sham."
In "Overnight Woman," we see a skinny boy who had shown good leadership at a younger age. The news landed in several major newspapers in Manila, Philippines. But who would know that this feat in life is just the beginning of more intricate chapters of controversial issues and heavy challenges that she has to face. The book is a must-read!"

'Non-reproductive lifestyles are discriminated against, even punishable by death in some countries. This raises the philosophical question of whether, for example, same-sex relationships could not be a possible answer from nature to problems such as overpopulation or "unwanted" or "neglected" life, biological alternatives to abortion or "baby hatch".
A sexual facet of human life is TRANSSEXUALITY - people whose bodies differ from the brain-determined birth sex. People who often have to deny their innate identity in order to survive in a society shaped by dogma.
This book introduces you to three Filipino trans women: Bea, Julia, and Paige. Born with a male body, living her female soul. Three People of Planet Earth...'

"In “He’s Dating the Transgender,” published by Anvil Publishing, Inc. and released at the Manila International Book Fair, Art explores his relationship with Trixie, a transgender beauty queen."
"There are different ways to enjoy “He’s Dating the Transgender.” You can read it like you would a romance novel and let the kilig wash over you. You can read it as an educational tool—Art devoted paragraphs to LGBT issues, sexual orientation, gender identity, etiquette in dealing with transwomen, but not in a preachy way."
"You can read it to figure out exactly where you stand and how you feel about equality. But try to read it with an open mind and an open heart."
