A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

S. Battaglino - Reflections from Both Sides of the Glass Ceiling

21w5
Full title: "In Reflections from Both Sides of the Glass Ceiling: Finding My Authentic Self in Corporate America" by Stephanie Battaglino.

In her compelling memoir, Reflections from Both Sides of the Glass Ceiling: Finding My Authentic Self in Corporate America, Stephanie Battaglino offers readers far more than a traditional account of climbing the corporate ladder. Her story is a raw and powerful examination of identity, privilege, transformation, and resilience, woven together with the precision of a corporate strategist and the soul of a truth-seeker.

Battaglino’s narrative is not only a personal reckoning but also a pointed critique of corporate culture and the silent yet pervasive barriers faced by women and transgender professionals. For decades, Stephanie lived a double life. In the boardroom, she was a respected and successful marketing executive, known for her competence and leadership. But inside, she was struggling, wracked with guilt, shame, and a deep sense of disconnection from her true self. The mask of masculinity she wore professionally afforded her the privileges society bestows upon men, but it also cost her a sense of authenticity and emotional peace. Her memoir captures this dissonance with gut-wrenching honesty. The tipping point came when the internal strain became unbearable.
