I have never had a chance to talk to Stephanie, and I wish I could. Her life was inspirational and full of extraordinary events. She was a British businesswoman and hotelier, known for her participation in the reality television series about her Hotel Stephanie for BBC Wales in 2008 and 2009.
In 1984 she established Transformation, a business catering to the transgender and transvestite community. Her website is still online, offering a variety of feminizing medicine and clothes. She wrote: "At the age of 68, I have lived just over 50% of my life as a woman and the other half as a man. If women knew how much easier it is for men I am sure there would be a revolution. Hopefully this very personal and honest account will give a unique perspective of the real differences between the sexes and also make the path of those who follow in my footsteps somewhat easier in these more enlightened times."
Despite these challenges, she built a string of businesses in the northwest of England and North Wales.

Stephanie Anne Lloyd passed away in 2016 at the age of 70. Her life story offers a unique perspective on the real differences between the sexes and the journey of gender reassignment.
