A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. "Mercedez was a “Trilogy” passing through this world. Born Roger Clifton Mears IV in 1980, transitioning to Spencer Love, as an eighteen-year-old gay male, performing in drag, until embracing Mercedez Love, the girl and the woman she was meant to be.
In the sixth grade she desperately tried to fit pieces of a puzzle together to understand why she was so different.
She wrote her first memoir, journal bound by a clasp titled, “This is a Confusing Life”.
This Memoir honors her as one who never made a choice to be the person she was. Her life was difficult and yet her spirit, laughter, and most of all LOVE touched so many as she struggled to survive."
