A random collection of over 1910 books and audiobooks authored by or about my transgender, intersex sisters, and gender-nonconforming persons all over the world. I read some of them, and I was inspired by some of them. I met some of the authors and heroines, some of them are my best friends, and I had the pleasure and honor of interviewing some of them. If you know of any transgender biography that I have not covered yet, please let me know.

Manuela Trasobares - Voluntad de poder

Original title: "Voluntad de poder " (Will of Power)

The book consists of two distinct parts, one historical and the other autobiographical, which narrates the intimacy of Manuela's childhood, in an attempt to settle the current controversy over whether children should have the right to decide their gender.

With lucid and early memories, she affirms that in childhood one can have a very clear identity, although some adults insist on imposing their prejudices.

Manuela Trasobares was born in Figueres in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. She is an opera singer, painter, sculptor, and philosopher who was soaked with artistic influences from her childhood, such as the moments with Salvador Dalí in Cadaqués, who gave her first lessons in drawing, optics, theater, and quantum physics. Dalí infused her with the surrealist perspective to analyze life, society, and art.

She also met the cartoonist of postcards and children's stories Juan Ferrándiz. From the age of ten, Manuela went every Sunday afternoon to the Liceo de Barcelona where she forged her passion for opera.

In the early nineties, her participation as a dramatic mezzo-soprano in the main international lyrical singing competitions in Europe had repercussions both in the mass media and in the specialized press. She was interviewed and sang in the programs of the most fashionable presenters of the time: José Mª Iñígo, Raffaella Carrà, Àngel Casas, Mª Teresa Campos, etc.
